A/m hull questions

add 2k to the price of any hull because your going to need a handle pole and also all the other little things add up like fuel line, gas tank, waterbox, motor mounts, water lines, possible new cables and so on... you dont want to bolt in 20 year old junk parts into an aftermarket set up, your always going to be wrenching and replacing. just do it right and get new stuff. an aftermarket hull will change your experience and make your engine feel like its +100cc

Thanks everyone yeah I wish I could have gone but my new job has me bogged down at the moment ! I just got done fully rebuilding my motor and just got motor mounts along with fuel and cooling line.. From what I understand and have been reading a stock sn gas tank will fit in the rickter.. I'm looking to build a decent ski and upgrade as I go along such as motor pump and all that good stuff. I'm from Rhode Island so unfortunately alls I can do right now is read lol we only have about 4 Good months of riding a year.

I would say check out the pjx hulls, used to be XFT, will do everything you want and more but still be able to ride around and have tons of fun on the pond.

Yeah man there's no better way to tell what ski is best for you without riding a bunch. I'd suggest making your way out to one of the free rides. The couple of hundred it would take for a trip would be worth it to know what hull you want to spend your $4000+ on

I'm on my 2nd rickter and I will say they assemble the best by far. Closest to oem as you'll get. I love the way they ride but if your riding just ponds you don't need a surf weapon. And like guys above said tack on another 2k off the bat your gonna need full pole setup and other parts you don't know of. It's always the case.

But you really need to ride hulls, a lot of them short fw hulls will piss you off if your gonna chase boats on them. And there's no point in buying a fw ski to put in a 701, you'll fight for your tricks and can't chase boats without fighting for your life behind the grips.

image.jpeg That's the inside of my phantom hull from @sinisterjosh209 4K for fiberglass hull no trimming needed or hooks to install the only thing you will need is rn mid shaft housing press out your mid shaft and put it in a rn housing, then a handlepole and me I bought an oem 155 pump for like $100 but you could run a oem 144 as well. Great deal if you ask any of us phantom owners
