After leaving for a couple of days to attend to some personal bizz. I return to find a mini war taking shape between some of our members & the PWCT admin. In reading thru some of the posts, I see you were coming to my defense, with Issues I have over there.
I thank you for your support. It’s good to know you are willing to help me.
In dealing with PWCT, I would also ask you to refrain from questionable posts.
Please, if you are going to comment on things their or any post in general. Please use respect for all parties involved. As a result, PWCT has taken a hard line in controlling this by issuing bans. It saddens me that this has happened to our membership. I would hate to see it happen to anyone else.

The X has become a big part of all our lives. We are all very proud of what it has grown into. All of us are looking to promote it anyway possible. Obviously, PWCT has a problem with us redirecting to the X from them. Please refrain from doing that. Please respect their wishes. If you feel the need to promote the X. Just put it in your signature block, or use the PM feature. Please don’t try to force feed the X to them. If someone sees the sig & wants to explore it, that is purely their option.

The forums seem to be taking on a of life of their own, sort of a soap opera character. I guess that is ok, but try to keep in mind, that as we grow the sport, there are a lot of industry people who are watching all the forums in general. Try to keep a positive image.
In the long run, our image is what will take us to the next level.

Well, I do apologize for - somewhat unintentionally - stirring up crap. It was not my intent to cause trouble for anyone.
Admittedly, I could have used slightly different language in that ONE objectionably sentence.
Honestly, I was trying to find out what this sensitivity towards redirects was all about.
Besides, I have a feeling the ban was coming regardless of accusations of scrotal pain.

Paul, nice idea about the signature. That may not last, though. I had a picture in my signature of my new handle pole with an X-H2O sticker. Alongside with being banned, my signature was permanently deleted.
This was not a hyperlink, just a picture.

That said, I'll quit stirring the pot - it's obviously pointless and doesn't help or advance anything or anyone.

Exactly. I go there from time to time to look for useful threads. You just need to comb through all the BS threads to find what you need. So, I'm just a PWCT lurker now... I have not posted there in a long time... and rather than post just to talk trash, I'll just lurk from time to time... :wink: find what I need, then leave.

just because we are mainly stand-up based, doesn't mean the guy washing his Honda won't want a Superjet one day. Before the X, almost all of us here were pwct members........... why wouldn't we want more?
If everyone can open their minds to change, it would be a much better world! That is one of the key phrases I have been trying to get Bryan/SBT to see for a while now. I know he reads here, hopefully he will get the point also.

I've been trying to keep my mouth shut about some of the issues that have been going on. I still post and respect PWCt, and same goes for X-h20. But coming back from vacation this week to see countless threads and posts pissing moaning about "the other site" was somewhat disturbing. Sure everyone has their personal opinions, and I respect that, but it's dissappointing to have to see all the posts and threads that pertain to "over there" instead of PWC in general. Just because you don't like PWCt, doesn't mean you have take it out over here.
