Are you leaving the balance shaft out of your 951...? That's a heavy engine.

Yes it is a heavy engine. I would really like to delete the balance shaft. It would be a easy 6-7 pounds weight loss. I have heard that it will shake pretty bad. I will try it. And see how bad it is. I have ridden, built and worked on many high powerd big twin snowmobile engines and they dont have balance shafts. My car also has the balance shaft pulled out. Its been like that foe over 8 years and makes 600 awhp on low boost! It shakes, but not bad. I will figure out a way to ditch the shaft in the 951. Im just not sure on how much work it will take yet lol once i have ridden the ski with the stock 951, if its what i want, i will work on lightening it up. I will be making the driveshaft out of titanium as well.

Hit me up with any questions on that swap. Like 5 or 6 years ago I put a 951 into a 750 sx. Way before I got into building hulls. I got it to run, but ended up parting it all out once I found it was not at all what I had expected.

Bottom half of the hull is done. Just finishing up the pump shoe, ride plat and intake grate set up.

155 seadoo pump mounted up, pump shoe done, ride plate done. The mag pump should be here next week

Ooo, im not sure. I want to say yes. I made a lil more progress. Started messing with the e-box and i got everything to fit in the stock gsxl e box. I think ill fab up an aluminum one in the future. But this will do.

Moded the stock manifold to accept the coffman pipe, shaved some weight, one less gasket and made a lil extra room. Pipe fits now. Ill finish welding it up tonight.

I fabricated almsot everything, wired and tuned the car. Rad is in the trunk floor. Rally anti lag system. Makes 600 all wheel hp on pump gas and i have a mildly built 240sx. I like making cool stuff for cool/unique toys

Just built this for it too, havent even put it on cuz ive been busy with the ski. The car can wait lol even made up some dimple dies so the top plate would have velocity stacks connecting to the runners. And cnc'd the flanges
