Just an update. I fired the ski up and with the balance shaft out it shakes like a normal engine. Just like my stock 750 does.. And it revs super fast!

I would love to hear how he liked the motor without the balancer after putting some time on it, if he ever did. I think it probably wouldn't be that bad, but dunno.
Any good or bad things - would have been good info for rest of us - about engine - was thinking - even you cut balancer shaft cases should make it possible to add some oil in crankshaft gear location to protect the seals
Hi guys, yes it works. The only failure I had with it was tearing the splines out of a prop when I was flipping it off a knee high boat wake a few years back.
Currently I have the hull in the middle of reshaping. The engine doesn’t shake bad at all, it’s just like a normal ski. Shakes less than a 1107. I need to do more pump tuning but the engine makes great power. I hope to get the hull done this summer
