The electric stuff will end the sport entirely.
Interesting thought. I always felt this way about liquor stores and smoke shops. Yet, here they still are. I guess there's 5 new addicts for every 1 that buys the farm.Sucks for those who tried to prey of the ignorant their entire life. You know damn well. These guys are suckering ignorant people out of their money.
I went from standups to wake boats because my fam cant all ride on a SJ with me. The market is insane on them. Budget boats like Axis,Moomba snd Supreme all start over 100k now. A nicley equipped 23ft Moomba was 80k at beginning of covid. Now going for 130s. It is crazy but people are still buying them. To some folks its worth it. If you cant afford you wait on a deal, or you find a way around it. Most users are surfers wakeboarding is secondary anymore. This market wont go electric, not viable. Ford and Chevy are backing out of it because they know its not worth it. Who wants to play for 2 hours and then charge for 5 hours? Electric is a joke and a government psyop. Buy the toys you can afford and dont worry about what Lee Stone wants for a pro level ski. Worrying about what others have and you dont is a recipe for misery.I actually agree with this. Look also at the wakeboat market. The lowest possible base model is $150k now all the way up to 500 which is double from just a couple years ago. All that to do some surfing? The top end models are selling to filthy rich no problem, but who’s continuing to buy the mid range models now? Even the people on forums are turning on the manufacturers and not buying nearly as much it seems.
You know, Honestly you are the most abrasive member on this site. All you do is come on here and look down your nose at everyone......... You rarely have anything nice to say, much less help out anyone. So why do you come here.............Fat rich people can drive boats. They can't ride flat water jet skis. Nor do they care about performance 2 stroke engines.
Literally. 2 of the vendors mentioned. Are riding solely on their families name or dollar. Not their knuckle and mechanical skills. Lmfao
I'm in the exact same group now where the standups were sold, used mastercraft purchased. We ski, so its definitely a lot cheaper but I do agree with everything you just said. Building a squarenose now again at least!I went from standups to wake boats because my fam cant all ride on a SJ with me. The market is insane on them. Every SN around here I have looked at is now 3500- 5k. Insane considering I sold my SN with b pipe and tons of mods sold for 2100 in 2015. Now that I finally have boat setup and all the toys I really want I might keep an eye out for another ski. Would love to build a good all around ski probably only lookin to spend about 60k. Thinkthat would cover it?I'm in the exact same group now where the standups were sold, used mastercraft purchased. Its just the way humans are. Wealthy people are able to cut to the front of the line and pay others to make whatever they want easy. Its looking like a handful of big spenders are all that standup skis have left. People can't stick with anything for very long, almost everyone who buys a ski is gone after a couple of years. All these builders are preying on lames who saw a jet ski backflip on instagram. And wanna post the same video for their wannabe friends to see on Instagram and Facebook.
No real rider. A guy who got a supretjet. And learned to ride. Is ever gonna pay 60 fawking k for a USED jet ski. Even if he's rich. Only a sucker would. And the vendors I mentioned, know it
I'd be a bazillioanire if I didn't have pride. Alot of us would. People are so easy
If you are lucky, but you'd have to be quick about it. Sellers known to change their minds.Every SN around here I have looked at is now 3500- 5k.
