Well iv been riding the octane for a few days now and I must say I love this thing!!! I will never go back to a superjet or Kawi...I changed the B pipe coupler because it had a hole in it and I got all the low end back...really like the -6 pole now too...mag pump makes it easy to do many flat water tricks coz the pump hooks up so well...crazy fast ski from top to bottom with amazing handling and balance!! Wish I woulda bought one a long time ago

truth is...we probably all knew he was going to say that didn't we ;-) between the power the stability and the space to move around in the tray..i feel the same each time i get back on my SJ..it feels like a tiny twitchy toy..which is great for some things of course, but for fast lake ridding...as quoted..i'm an octard for life lol
to the point where any friend of mine can ride the sj all day long..but sorry..big red is all mine

I love my octane. I think its very stable. Had great power on stock motor and was very fast. Put in a built 900 polaris motor that im still tuning in

I have a big bore Yamaha power plant in my octane. Took a solid 25+ pounds out of the weight of the ski with the lighter engine, and has much more punch down low. Also a adjustable X-metal pole and a set of tubbies, very fun ski for any conditions.

octane is the best out of an sj and sxr for sure. i'd never give up the octane motor for a yami either. people use to tell me they'd never run a dry pipe because of the it'll never have low end. yet everyone is going to them. these guys showed you what to do. put some mikunis on it and find the octane dry pipe and you'll poop your self!

hey guys having some problems with my octane ran great for about a half hour then would not rev up and more than a little past idle, changed the plugs looked for exhaust leaks any ideas ?
