Super Jet Ada 701\760 girdled head fitment issues.

Has anyone else experienced fitment issues with these heads on 62t cylinders. Its like the girdled studs are off. And is throwing the other bolt holes off. I've got it corrected was just curious if anyone else has had the same issue

Yes. That is an issue with the 62t case. You have to machine off the tabs around the top of the cylinders where the interference Is ,So that the studs can drop straight in. I had the same issue on my motor build this past winter. It had me stumped for a little while.

Yeah I did that, I still had an issue afterwards. Only place I didn't remove material was center one exhaust side. Looks like the stud is Up next to the side of the hole pushing head over a bit. I'm not gonna mess with removeing that spot on a fully assembled motor lol

Die grinder, a porting bit and about 5 minutes of your time and they fit like a glove.

Like BruceSki said 5 minutes now could save you a big problem later. I dont know if side pressure on that stud would matter but I dont think I would wanna test it.

I can get u one had to remove se material on the rear exhaust side corner and middle exhaust side
