Ada head advice!

Hey everyone I'm looking to buy an Ada head kit for my 61x motor in my blaster. I want to keep the compression around 180-190 so I can keep running premium.. Any idea what domes would work best? Also at what point do I need to run race gas? After 190lbs? Thanks
 
Max pump gas 35 cc domes on blasters because of higher load then SJ hulls...I once ran 33's in a blaster and added 2 gallons avgas per tank, it sure pulled great on low end and was very noticeable.
 
I'm sure glad I posted about it then.I would have never thought about the blaster having a heavier load than a sj. Does everyone think the Ada head is still a good investment even tho I'm only running a 61x61x

Definately worth the money... You need a little lower compression than an SJ because you're more tempted to run WOT.

Yes plus the orings are cheaper than a head gasket. And replacable domes are a plus. Contact jetmaniac he mite have a used one

Also because I will be using the 35cc domes and running premium gas I shouldn't need dual cooling correct? I'm running a limited b pipe with dual 44s on a 61x-61x. Or is it worth running dual cool with a pisser anyways?

It never hurts to have xtra cooling especially in warm areas like florida where i live.

U have to add a fitting to the pump by using the siphon bilge and drilling and tapping the pump stator then tap the exhaust mani and add an extra fitting to the other exhaust port side thats true dual cooling

I would add dual cooling because the same motor runs hotter in a blaster than a superjet because the blaster hull leaves a much bigger fingerprint in the water ( higher load). Hotter running motors with high compression, more load and then suddenly add rpm will Deto faster.

Compression will be affected by your piston size as well. I have 35cc domes on my 61x/62t Blaster and run about 175PSI with a fresh Jetmaniac ported 735cc top end kit. Dual cooling is a must.
