hi.
i have a 2008 superjet with-
b pipe & 46 sbn carburetor and the ski is running pretty good.
i have bought a ADA head with 37cc domes but didn't install it yet.
i ride at sea lever.
do i need to rejet my carburator if i will install it? i will must to do the dual cooling mod?
i didn't touch it before, i have some knowledge from 2 stroke dirt bikes and i dont want to mess with it if i dont have to because were i live we dont have any parts for it and i need to order everything from international sellers.

IF it is jetted properly for the b pipe you will not have to change it when you add the head. You don't have to do the dual cooling either but depending on the water temps you get over there it could help. The dual cooling is also cheap insurance that if one cooling line gets clogged at least you still have one getting the motor cooled.

Hope that helps

it seems to run little rich right now.
it makes it leaner or richer?
about the dual cooling i have read about it but didint understand exactly how to do it, i need to use the stock pump hose and conect it to the exhaust manifold?

Tap the pump for a second fitting. Remove the stock siphon bilge. Connect a hose from the new pump fitting to stock siphon bilge tube. Connect the siphon bilge tube on the inside to the manifold.

2 pump fittings, 2 lines into the hull, 2 lines to the manifold.

I don't know what jetting you should run. Tuning is not very hard to do pretty good, but more complicated than I care to explain. There are already so many write ups on how to tune.

Start rich and lean from there. Don't let the plugs get light in color. If the plugs were marshmellows, and you'd think it needs to go back on the fire, you are too lean.

IMO your rich already, for a stock 701, but I ran 46 Full Specs with mine. Follow proper tuning and spend the time. Thats a decent starting point, what carb intake box, Proks, plastic OEM, etc. Whats your pop off currently? also you racing or freestyle, braapping around? if race jetting will be diff on top

The guy is running a single 46. Comparing it to jetting for dual 46 Full Specs doesn't help.
