ADA racing girdled head-review wanted

ADA are the most popular because they are one of the only ones still being made except for some new brands that have came out. all old brand heads are getting hard to find domes for, so if you buy and older brand, you may not get replacement parts. most of the new brands are quite a bit more expensive initially and for replacement parts. ADA heads do wear out. the head shell wears where the top of the domes contact it. then the dome fits loose and it blows o rings and the dome spins when you try and remove the plugs. you dont have to use the long bolt girdle kit, its just the most simple and cheap design. you can use the elaborate girdle kit that torques the cylinder and the head seperatly.

^This. I picked up a 3ft rod of high grade SS M10x1.25 for 50$ at the local fastener store to use when all the threads came off one of the ada girdle studs...

and the 3' stick still leaves you one stud short if you need all 6. you ganked for $50? i get those for $35

They had cheaper options, but I went with the better grade SS.

They also have a good thick dome. So if you need to machine the engine to run positive deck you can no issue
