adding inserts

putting in a superjet gas tank and rear waterbox in my b1. Whats the best way to glue down the inserts that hold the straps(washer with nut)? Do I just lay them in resin and glass over? Or is their another glue used?

Any adhesive should work. Make sure to clean and then rough up mounting surface and disc. Plexus, West G/flex, and other epoxies are good. Adding west 404 adhesive bonding filler will increase bonding strength. Make sure to have the holes fully covered by adhesive. You can also add west A square of glass or carbon cloth on top will make it bomber strong. I like to add a little black dye to the resin when mixing up and it makes the mix and cloth black to match carbon hulls.
