Ski clinic put Bob holds in my first badass after I sold it. It was one of the first ones and it had adjustable freak holds that always came loose .Second freak had freak holds and they were awesome

I considered putting the rrp adjustable footholds in my freak while i was building it and doing some glass work already. I had put a set in my superjet I had prior and swore by them. The main reason is because I wasn't looking forward to turfing around them. But the freak holds are soo big and it leaves lots of options on turfing. I was able to put 1 inch thick of padding underneath the top part of the hold and 2 inches on the floor with a wedge under the heel. If you turf it properly you don't need adjustable holds. The freak holds are easier to kick into and more comfortable in my opinion.

I used 2 layers of 1/2 inch undermat around the footholds, then blended it smooth. Also did the same on top of the holds to make the actual turf lay down easier. The kicker is 4 layers of 1inch. These pics should help.
