Adult Section?

It really depends what a new "adult section" entails. Primarily XXX pictures or language?

While XFT LOU's comments may seem like something your mom may say, he does make a valid point about already being able to find this stuff on the net (nekked pictures). If this adult section is for trash talking with the potty mouth filter removed, I can see things getting really ugly in there with a whole new level of fights/arguments.

I've seen many good forums come and go because they began to expand, saturate or lose focus on the original intended overall topic. A perfect example is how it tends to attract new members that could care less about PWC, freestyle or freeriding and adding new completely unrelated topics throughout. This site could potentially get so bad as to attract certain PWC operators that would start a new post to talk about "how to wax a ski" or "whats the best anchor to buy" :thinking:

ps. I realize it may be important to be able and "verify" if someone is 18 years or older, but at what cost. I don't like the idea of emailing my D/L across the internet just to see skin. I wouldn't do it even if a relative asked.

Sound like a great idea.

However, I can also see someone posting a bunch a useless crap just to increase his post count (so they can qualify and make it into the adult section).

The :barrel: side of me say doughnut all this...I'm headed out now to ride!

I guess I'm wondering why a jetski website needs an "adult" section???:thinking: I agree with whoever said if it's xxx rated stuff you want to look at you ought to be able to find it w/o bringing it here. The last few days around here seem like maybe this place is on the mend and my personal opinion is that this would be a step in the wrong direction.

That is a great idea and I was thinking it would be a great spot for the hundred or so pictures I have in a folder named ski babes.... not just for porn that is on the internet anywhere,,,, like what Lou said.

I guess we need to decide what would be IN the adult section.

I wasnt actually thinking PORN, just possible off color jokes, and whatever other content would be borderline or Unacceptable in the regular X areas.

I would not want the X to be blocked at work or schools. I voted NO, however if it does go through I think that there should be an age verification and min post count along with having to re-enter your password and username to enter. Or atleast some sort of dialouge box should pop up like when you log off asking if you are sure that you want to enter.


I still vote no, there's lots of places to find this kind of stuff if you want to look for it.

I agree............. This is a jetski site.......... Lets keep it that way.........(granted, there is a few sections that are not jetski related, but they are crossover sports........... They do nothing that would keep people from being able to access the X from work)

I also say, NO, because I am sure my work will block it (I do most of my X-H20 surfing during that time). Plus this is a jetski site let's keep it that way. Isn't there enough "adult websites" out there anyways. Keep in mind the younger people that are in this website, reguardless if there is an 18 or over sign in, still NO. Let's keep it jetskiing and PG-13!!!

I vote no. There are many other places on the net for adult stuff.

Not to mention it would be one more thing for admin to mess with...
