So I’m getting ready to put my Jetnetics flywheel on my 61X. I used to advance timing a dimes width on all my 550 motors. Should i leave it be or give it a little advance?
Motor is bone stock for now with 150psi in each cylinder. It does have AM flame arrestor on it. Would it hurt to bump up the timing? I know it made a mild improvement on the underpowered 550 motors! Didn’t find much in a search......
This is going in a 550 hull with a kawi 750 pump.

Every mm of advance is about 1 degree. Not exactly but close enough to eyeball a few degrees. Some kawi 750 800 advance plates or the jumper wire is 6 degrees so 4 or 5 might give you something off the bottom
