SX/SXi/SXi Pro Advantages of Girdle Head Kit vs stock setup?

Just curious but what advantages does a Girdle kit offer over just using the acorn nuts to hold the cylinder to the cases? The only thing I can see is different is that instead of using 8 acorn nuts you use 4 acorn nuts for the center and 4 capscrews for the outer. I am looking into the Ada Racing kit for my 95 750SXi. Thanks

The girdle studs clamp the cylinder between the head and cases. It reduces stress on the mounting areas of the cylinder, and makes the assembly stronger as a whole.

i see in your avatar you have a factory pipe... those are heavier than a stock system so the girdle kit will help to keep your pipe from pretty much ripping apart the block on a hard landing. ive been told that it's not that big of a problem on 750s compared to 701s, but that's just what someone told me.

Good to know... Thanks
