advent ignition causing rough idle?

I use Odyssey's and Decka's with the Advent CDI's they do idle a little rougher but when you get the carbs working right the throttle response and instant HP on tap is really great, Must use the right curve though...depending on what the compression ratio is and the total set-up of the engine package.

I have the D-14 and am running curve 2, which is Y701-6. ADA head with 35cc domes, lightened flywheel with 62t elec., FPP mod pipe, dual 44 mikunis. Still debating the intake manifold, but I think it will be an R&D (close together) with either RAD131A, stock, or VF2. This depends on $$. I would like to get the Boyesen Ext. velocity setup, but that is 600 clams.


This is all going on at one time, so I will have some major tuning to do.

I build most of my motors with my modified intake manifold and convert them over to using modified kaw reed cages.
