I cant get this cylinder off the crank case of this 61X motor im trying to rebuild..
Ive soaked this thing in PB Blaster a few nights in a row and I cant get this cylinder to budge even alittle bit.
I don't want to damage it so im using a plastic hammer with the metals balls inside of it. So its hitting it pretty good but it does bounce very slightly.
There’s also no room anywhere to use a screwdriver and it looks like the guy i bought this from already kind of tried that and put some marks in it..
Am i missing something here? Do the studs have to come out? Are they possibly putting pressure on it making it even harder to get out?
What should i use or maybe put back on the motor so i can hit it better on both sides especially the intake side.
If i cant get it off, would be easier withe lower case and crank removed?
The pistons and crank spin freely actually so thats not the issue here..
Thanks!
