Advice on Spectating World Finals?

Looking for some advice! I'm outta Phoenix and am newly into the stand-up world. WF is coming up and it sounds like a rad time to go as a spectator. Just looking for advice on how to go. I have a camper shell setup with a EZ Ski rack so I'm self contained and pretty small footprint for camping, even pretty stealthy with my blackout curtains lol. I guess some questions I have are below:

I'm wanting to go over the weekend (fri-sun), should I do the first weekend or the second one?
Do I need tickets for anything in advance?
Any recommendations on camping locations? I've camped once in BLM land north of havasu and it was nice. (Any shoreline camping spots??)
Would you recommend going solo? I the ski community has been a friendly group so far so I figure I can just go meet people.
If I'm not a very advanced rider, will I be ok ripping around on my 650 SN or will I be in the way?

Any other advice is appreciated!

Crazy horse campground would put you right in the middle of the event. Second weekend would include everything freestyle. Plan to stay Monday also, the famous Body Beach gets all the freestyle guys together for a good time.

Sweet! Thanks, Crazy horse may have to be a next year thing, all booked up already. Cool i'll plan to do the second weekend. Where would i launch from if i just wanna go cruising around the lake? I'd imagine just about everywhere is gonna be pretty busy.

Like Zach said, show up second weekend for sure and make sure to stay through Monday night. Monday is half the reason many of us go =)

There are coords on the map picture below, that will put you right in the cove. Tons of places to boondock all around lake havasu, i included coords for one of the more popular spots. But you can see people parked everywhere off 95 camping in the desert. Just don't overnight at bodybeach itself.

Just remember, Event is on the island. Follow the skis lmao. There is a nice ride location on the island also called site 6. It is on the same road as the event/crazy horse just go past a bit further and snake your way through the desert towards the waters edge. If you see the lighthouse you done went too far. Body Beach you can really track that one down with following the ski traffic also lol. Thats how I found both spots my first year at finals lol

Are they still doing the evening/night freestyle stuff under the bridge? It has been like 10ish years since I went but it was neat to spectate.

Man, I need to get out here one year for world finals. Y'all making me jealous. Hopefully there will be some decent streams of it!
