Are we really defining an aftermarket hull as "good" or "bad" based on the fact that it either plains out nicely or rides nose high?

Glass rokr 3500. Includes pole bracket, pump shoe, intake pump wing, wdk hood pin system and long plate. Rides really good with long plate. Not nose high AT ALL!

There's got to be a dollar amount to be placed on NOT having to deal with Jeff.

You're right Matt. Instead of dealing with him a few just copy. Been pretty decent lately and the RokR seems to be a solid performer, unfortunate the past precedes him. Derail :aargh4:

Good to hear it worked okay for you. I was basing my comment only partially on past feedback. I've seen a bit of the same shenanigans on orders within the last 10 months. On ROK-R's and motors.

Oh I missed the most important part....who is copying the ROK-R, or what hull is a copy?

Did'nt say RokR. Look around, popular pipe today layout, pump tunnels, hood retention. Ain't trying to be a Jeff "fanboy" here just calling it how I see it. He makes good stuff and comes up with good ideas. Consistency is not his forte it seems which is unfortunate.

Alright, sorry - I mis-read what you wrote.
He's come up with some good stuff in the past. It's unfortunate that he is hit-or-miss in the service department.

OP-lots of good ones out there in your price range. Trinity Matrix XF,Trendsetterz BC, EME Q8 FR, RCW Brawler,WDK RokR, hell even the WDK ROK. All very capable hulls that will do what you said you wanted in your original post. Drive train swap would be a consideration, All but the EME are set up for Yami pump. EME can easily accept multiple engine platforms. Check em out, you'll find what fits you. P.S brand new Aerial8 with carbon bilge on ebay at $4800 is a steal. Good luck and have fun.

It was my post and I want a hull that can plain out nicely. I am the one classifying them that way. You don't have to.

My comment wasn't necessarily directed at you but more so the responses people on here give on how "good" a hull is because it will plain out and doesn't ride nose high. IMO, the term nose high came about when the BoB gen 1's were released and since then these hull have come so far that the ability to cruise around on them shouldn't even be a concern anymore. With the amount of competition in the aftermarket hull world these days, anything being release should sure as hell be rideable. Granted, some may better suit boat chasing, rec riding, choppy water, surf, etc than others, but terms as vague as "it plains out nice" shouldn't be used as feedback on a hull.

If you are a fan of a particular hull, give us some specifics on why you like that hull. "tracks well at high speeds, handles choppy water well, recovers from aerials well, pulls more chicks than the other guy's hull, whatever. Just put a little effort into the response
