Surfriding After 17 years rocking an FX-1, Got a Rickter FR-2

My FX-1 has been ridden hard for 17 years now and has served me well but neither of us were getting younger and we were both needing more and more ummm body work?

Well This project has been under wraps for a while but, after riding a few of these I decided I would treat myself to a new ride , splashed it last Sunday and I am stoked on riding again this ski is so fun in the surf I still have a grin on my face

I have more details after surf slam but
Rickter FR-2
redesigned and heavily worked over Protec sub port cylinder from the old school custom flat top pistons
billet 145 set back mag pump
Titan pole
and of course all the Cold-Fusion stuff
vinyl wrap similar to my FX-1

on a side note , I have a big pump, (144) heavily modded, 17 year old FX-1, needing a new home, its back flip and barrel roll trained

Rode this ski this weekend and now I'm very very very very jealous. I've been racking my brain for the last 3 days trying to figure out how I can afford one

I never though I would find a ski I liked better than an FX-1 (maybe f1 pro?) but I am loving this FR-2, the billet 145 mag pump just wont come unhooked and I think this ski is imposable to pearl, I tried , surfs right out every time
plus this ski doesnt seem to flat land and compress my old bones like a Superjet, As soon as I get my replacement footholds (little Qc issue) I see how she flips and rolls
