I'd be lost without the x
I got mine registered but have never bothered to put on numbers.. Never been bothered or asked about it even after being stopped by cops to make sure I had my boaters card on me

I left the previous guys numbers on mine. I haven't even signed the title yet haha.

The coastguard doesn't have a boat small enough to stop me anyways.

in 20 years of boating, I have been pulled half a dozen times
got one written warning for wake in a no wake zone on my 750
and I ride ALL the time!

Peter, now make a xerox copy of your DL and your Registration card, put it in a ziplock bag and tape it to the underside of your hood. I waterproofed my stuff by applying some 2" wide clear packing tape over the copy and water wont get to it.
Now if you do get pulled over and do have that info, it seems the water cops are not so hard on you if you have your info, vs not having it.

Ive been pulled over once, didnt check registration or anything just my license. I dont register my trailer, I just use a tag from our car trailer. Never got pulled over with the trailer.
