Aftermarket engine vs aftermarket hull

Limited experience with aftermarket hulls, I've only ridden the couple that I've owned myself, but based on that if you're riding with a bunch of people on superjets and just interested in the general goofing around that one does, it's tough to beat a superjet. Especially if you're going to ride any distance or at any higher speeds, much more comfortable on the superjet.

Any attempt to flip or do any tricks, and it's not even close aftermarket hull is way better.

I see a place in the world for both, depends what you want to do. A superjet with a bunch of power can definitely be fun, I can see why somebody would want that, but I've never tried more than a fairly heavily modified stock cylinder in a stock hull.

I could do more tricks on my SJ than I can on my Rickter Edge.

There is a krash surf ski either the footrocket or maybe the jb1. That is like a much more fun version of the SJ. Great for chasing boats and jumping wakes. But also feels light and powerful with a 701.

Yep I have seen the pics of it, got the r&d pipe on it,custom full spec carbs etc etc
got a chance to ride it at finals this year. We couldnt come to an agreement on price. It was a sweet ski. Fast, but didnt have the mid range of a fully built triple. It bounced pretty bad around the course, I think he took something like 35 lbs of lead out from under the engine. The added length made it drive the nose too hard for jumping. TY is a really nice guy. I would have loved to put the weight back in it and run that thing

I recently finished my glass -4.3 superfreak badass and I must say, it is probably the best riding hull I've ever ridden. The wider tray is excellent and it is also long enough to get a decent width for surf stance. I'm running a lpw 735 with all of the goodies, 148 mag setback pump. I can cruise up and down the lake all day no problem. It weighed in at 117 lbs after lots of reinforcement i added to it. lots of padding under the turf with a 4 inch kick tail, hood strapped on, custom pole bracket and pole bolted on. Feels super light compared to the -4, rockered rn superjet I came off of. The engine feels much snappier too. The shortened superjet was a fun ski but rode fairly nose up which caused more fatigue. The sj would flip off of a boat wake with a basic 701 setup.

I think the predator was krashes second hull for surf and then they slipped the jb1 in there since it was an in-between length. I could be mistaken since it's been so long and they suck
JB1 was before the Predator from what I remember?
