Air in fuel lines

I've had my tank out for a while put it back in and got air in my lines info prime it ,it will start but immediately die soon after . What's the best way to clean the lines ? Keep priming and starting or open up tank remove line from carb and blow in tank until air all comes out . ?

I don't know what the correct answer is. But I prime the poop out of mine. It fires and I'm still priming for a few seconds after. I keep it nice and wet, drowning in gas.

I would think you have an air leak in you fuel system somewhere in the chain. It takes over a week for my skis to require any priming/choke to restart. Start from one end and work to the other. Start at the tank and work your way to the needle and seat.

I had the tank out and lines open . To Air I also haven't started this ski since last summer . I don't think I have a leak but I will still check

Just prime it until it runs. Air in the fuel lines will make it run lean so just Let it idle a while before you stomp on it.

Done that quite a few times myself and if I see air bubbles I trace the leak. On my ROK running a Mikuni DF-62 fuel pump it took about 7 seconds to fill fuel system from dry and it could sit for 2 weeks and start in a few seconds with no primer. Or just keep pushing the primer I guess. Good luck man and have fun.

Tired and tried over an over in the river today and I got no where . I don't think I have an air leak I got all the air outta the lines I'm thinking possibly clogged filters in they carb . Should I run some in line filters in my fuel lines ? As of right now I have no filters

In line filters would definitely be a good idea if you don't have any kind of filter coming from the tank right now.

I don't have one at all . That's why I'm thinking the filter in my carbs are clogged

You don't have a sealed system. I ran into the same problem. Mine was gasket on the fuel cap. Yep it was missing after market fuel cap was missing flat prong. Prime and primed and primes. Loss prime after half day running all the time. Only took me a season to find it. Should have hiss from tank when boat sits in the sun by unscrewing the fuel cap.
