The hump is for the big pump area, nothing to do with Pad, etc... Alot of top secret pump stuff there hence no detailed pics...

Thanks for all the props guys, I'm going to the shop after turkey, lol

Not 100% on color. Paint or wrap it...

Leaning towards a wrap, cheaper, faster, replaceable in a day...

can you paint it the same colour orange as mine? > that way when i buy it, it will match the fleet jk

I can't wait to see this ski come together ! Josh does such killer builds. That ski has the "normal" nose , it's stronger, has more lift and doesn't give you the spray in the face that the non bondline ski does .

The pump tunnel isn't higher, the footholds are lower. This way you can get 25mm plush underpad down and be standing at oem height.

I put down 25mm pad on my ski and will be replacing it with 9mm soon to get lower again. It sounds silly but that little bit of height makes a big difference and Tem is way ahead of the curve to offer this mod, (as well as many other innovative mods), in his hulls.

Actually both the pump is higher and footholds lower, Tem is pushing the envelope...

But that only works if you spend 100% of the time in the footholds, right ?

I have slight high spots in my tray from my footholds, even with the padding I can still feel it underfoot and after a while it gets annoying.

First Joshs' hull is designed to be primarily a flatwater hull and most of the time riding will be only in the footholds, however, a creative turf job can even things out as Boyer has suggested.

Some of my favorite boards have some dome in the deck and big arch- kick tail traction pads. This ski has that same feel when in surf stance. A 1/4" thickness change is massive in a board, lowering are CG is a good thing .

Hey, I'm not taking a dump on that thing. As a matter of fact I would like to offer you my wife in on trade for one of those hulls.

I'm just wondering if 1/2" of deck height would be noticeable in rotation speed and if it would be a worthy compromise over comfort. I'll take mine either way.
