I think he is trying to catch up with Malone's equipment. I would do a q8 before a Lenzi 1 hull.

I would want a Trinity Matrix Pro over either any day. Have you seen the build quality of the q8? Looked like my grandma made it, and she's 92 and blind. LOL

Lenzi would look good on any hull he's a fantastic rider, as is Eric. I don't believe either understand composites tho..

There is a huge difference between the EME Q8 and the Lenzi1one hull design!

I don't know if they differ in ridding capabilities yet!

I have ridden the EME Q8 with a 1105cc motor and the ski is incredibly powerful.

However; I had a hard time adapting to the EME Q8!

"24-7 760 Superjet" owns an EME Q8 he is the better guy to explain more about the the ski than me. :thinkerg:

Back to the Lenzi1one hull, once I receive my hull and ride it I can tell you more of it's differences!! :bigok:

IMO from the looks of it Lenzi is not trying to copy anyone or catch up to anyone and is in fact trying to make something new.

Yes Lenzi and Malone use the same pump size, trim and motors but their hull designs are definitely not.

If your are serious about purchasing any of the 2 hulls I suggest to test both skis first or get enough feed backs from riders before you decide.

Keep in my mind that both skis are considered by many to be one of top five skis out there in the market right now!!

Good luck :barrel:

If I can ever afford a lightwieght, I would defiantly buy one from someone who actually specializes in composite materials (ie. Trinity, Superfreak). Spending $8000 on a hull, I would want the best person available to build it, not someone who can do 10 backflips.

I saw pics of the lenzi 1 and I think it looks thrown together. Looks like the top deck is larger than the bottom and they don't match up properly. I'm interested to hear your feedback on the lenzi hull. I have been on several q8's and they are ok, but I'm 6'1 and prefer the original EME hull.

Well Said!

FYI Lenzi has a boat factory and has been riding for over 15 years, I believe that he is specialized in composite materials IMHO.

He just built a ski and showed us it's capabilities.

I think there is more to the ski than just quality, depending on what purpose you want the ski for.

I have not seen the quality of the Lenzi1one hull yet so I cannot comment on that yet!

BUT all I am saying is that I am looking for a ski that can help me develop my skills as a flatwater freestyler first then quality comes second!

In your case you are looking for a Hull that is of top notch quality first!

I agree with you, I mean the ski looks like a huge hood on the water right?:dunno:

But there is a good reason why Lenzi's hull looks thrown together and it's because he wanted to get rid of all the extra weight while keeping the ski strong and as wide and short as possible.

I had a long talk with Lenzi before buying the hull and he explained every single detail to me and its obvious that he put a lot of thought and R&D into the ski before releasing it to the market.

As I mentioned before everything would be clearer once I test the hull myself and I will be glad to share my feedback with you and my friends here on the X :439:

I think about the quality lenzi really understand, because I researched the internet and saw the boats it produces in its factory in Brazil. They make boats 27 30, 36, 40 and 65 feet. with international certificate. If a factory has the knowledge to make boats that cross the ocean for sure will also know how to build great Jetskis.

Some pictures I found on the Internet

I have a friend who already bought the Jet Lenz1one and told me that besides being great to navigate it is very easy to work on the engine, because it has lots of room.

I'm already getting ready to buy a Lenz1one me, the Q8 Malone looks cool, Lee Stone ride good. More after seeing the Jet Lenz1one Lenzi won all the titles in 2009 have no more doubts about which hull choose.
I ride the best and be like the best, and today is the best Lenzi, that's a fact!

I REALLY think that hull is a chopped up SXR. Look at it closely...looks like the top deck of an SXR with about 2 inches off of the bottom trimmed off and little off of the front and back..
