FX-1 Alignment issues.

Trying to get this ski put together.
Bolted up pump and have tried to shim the back of the pump til the bolts almost won't thread and I can't get the shaft off the bottom mid shaft hole.?
It is actually kind of tight there.

Bought the ski in pcs, mid shaft was toast. Installing new rhaas mid.

Try rotating the shaft.

No that's not it. Lol
At first I mounted mid shaft then installed pump then motor for rough alignment.
All went together fine made adjustments and all spun freely.

Then I read the TEC section on correct way to align it all, so figured I would do it the right way seeing as how the mid shaft was toast when I got it probably from misalignment in the first place.?

Yah I doubted it, rotating the shaft in the hole and watching the clearance will tell you how straight it is.

Are those pics after shimming?
How hard was it to slide in the pump if the shaft was tight against the through hole?

Yes after shimming pics.
Goes through fine just has pressure against bottom side.
Guess I will get it close and Brap it.
