Just installed this morning. 2nd one I have done, and like it. Note the small cut piece by the bilge outlett, the trick is to get the hood centered and lock it down overnight. By morning you will have a nice groove formed.

it looks pretty nice, but can it honestly be AS GOOD or better than an OEM superjet seal????
No. It's not made for a yamaha! But you can replace it 5 times b4 you cover the cost of an OEM.
I've replaced the hood seal 2 times in seven years. It still makes good sense to go watcon.
It's not the same and it's not perfect. It's an alternative to the silly OEM price.

There's no denying OEM is the best. It just costs too damn much.

This seal, so far, has kept the water out. That's it's job. It's doing fine so far.
I'll let ya know how long it lasts. Cause that's what it's gonna boil down to.

my good oem seal don't seal at the front.......

running stiff pole? that can make the front of the hood opening sag like the sn's do

if everything is lined up,the ski is not warped from running stiff pole and the seal is installed properly the stock seal will not leak.
