I know the answer to that question, now. :veryhappy:

I was thinking the other day that there might not be ANY rolls in Amateur this year, but now I know otherwise.

Is Sweeny rolling yet? If so he has a good chance to take it, as well.

Good luck to all that are competing. I wish I was going to make it this year, but it just wasn't in the cards. I'm throwing my six-year old a birthday party on Sunday.

I do know that the SweeneyBird pulled off some rolls a couple of weeks ago on the river while riding behind the Gen. Jackson. Maybe a flatwater roll is in the works? Hopefully someone will take some video and post it up.

My stress level has been waaaaaay tooooooo high for the last couple of weeks hoping/dreaming of a 08 championship. Now that I know Chad is coming I actually got a good nights sleep last night while dreaming of peeing in his gas tank. LOL JUST KIDDING!!! Chad is a MUCH better rider than myself and deserves it alot more than me. Maybe now I can relax and ENJOY the weekend and have FUN!!! After all, fun is the reason I keep doing it. BTW, the ski is now officially competition ready. I got home last night and made a few tweeks here and there and went to get comfortable on it and the big air tricks are sooooo freegin easy with the weight loss.

Not going to roll. I need a wake to roll. I've been close to clearing my head above the water on some flat water rolls, but it's not consistent enough for competition. Too much chance of loosing the ski. I just I'm just going to stick with what I'm best at, and try to stay consistent with smooth transitions. Sadly, this could very well be my last competition for awhile so it would be very nice to place well. You never can tell what the turn out will be. I've seen very good riders mess up and have a bad run and I've seen beginner riders have a very good run when it was not expected. We'll just have to wait and see. You just have to go out there and have fun. That's what it's all about!
