Super Jet Am I F*%^ed?

well so far...the night it happened i turned it upside down and drained most of the water out, charged the battery and got it running, then flushed it out a lot, then put premix into the cylinders to sit over night...got the next days night shift covered and took it out but i could only run it for about 20 minutes because the battery died on me while i was in the middle of the river...came back and charged the battery and it started up connected to the hose...and now its sitting until i cant take it out again

You're probably fine. Might have taken a bit of time off the life of the bearings, but sounds like you did what you could.

if its not going to get run for a few more days fog it with fogging oil.....or start it up and pour a few ounces of straight 2 stroke oil in the carb....let it run til it starts smokin like CRAZY then shut down

So i had the same thing happen and with in hours of it happening i had oil on the crank and got it fired 2 days later, been running the ski for 2 years now non stop and it's still good, but they are right water rusts the crank soo fast, so for me i am just waiting till it lets go as an excuse to buy something bigger and better :) But i think you will be ok as long as you keep oil in it and when you do ride it ride it hard!!!!!!!

With my sxr I start it and pull the battery off the positive end if it stays running then its charging. On my rn sj with a msd enhancer the ski will die as soon as I pull the cable. I was told that with a stock cdi it will stay running I'm not sure if this is true but It's worth a try. if it doesnt stay running you can test the green wire coming from the stator going to the reg with ski off and battery connected and see what it reads.
