Just wanted to give a shout out to the amatures who competed in some really nasty water conditions out there, in particular my young friend from Ketchikan Alaska "Tanner Thomas" or aka Tanman. He rode surf for the first time at the age of 17, kicked a$$ and never lost his ski. Even the first morning here his boat would not start and had to tear it apart on the beach, broke his pole bracket as well, but made repairs and competed getting 7th overall!

Stanton rocked it, no surprise here. Mark and Chris also have a bright future, great job guy's.

That is a good picture of Stanton and Tanner you can see where one of the many sneaker waves wiped everything out. You can tell from how sunk the tires are on the beach cart's of how much water came through there.

This sport really is special and I am really glad to be a part of it especially if I have to travel a long way everytime I compete. Thanks to Stanton, Mark, Chris, Zach, Thomas, and all the amateur freeride guys for bein so cool. It was my first freeride and I am hooked I will still race my stock class sxr but freeride is really where its at in the watercraft industry as far as fun.... so again really Thanks to everyone!!!
