I have not heard of the rule change but if by some chance it is true then there will be some in Ams puling back flips, that will be cool.

If your pulling flat water backflips in AMs, something is wrong. You need to be in pro.

a buddy i ride with is doing backys with just a stock stroke lamey and a VERY havily reenforced hull...it has to do with skill and determination!

There are some "pros" that cant do a back flip. Does that mean they should not be pros or anyone that can do a back flip is a pro. I can do a mean back flip I go one way and my ski another LOL.

Theres a respectable skill line that is "kinda seen" When your doing backflips on flat water your either

Running way illegal equipment(to be in AM)

or

Have WAY too much skill that lets you do them on low HP and a stock hull (to let you be in AM)

I saw video of a guy touch the nose on on a flatwater backflip attempt and all he had was a XFT 60lb hull and a ported 760.

yep yep! know whats funny. when i started riding for reals last year i thought.. right now the cool trick is the barrel roll, but in a year everyone is gunna be trying the backy. i never thought i would be trying it already, but i am!
