Super Jet Another FAKE ADA Head

Bought a used ADA head for $180 and came with hardware. Owner said it was used for about 10 hours. Also bought some 37cc domes from him. When i received the package i opened it and saw the head-shell and immediately recognized it as a FAKE. Sent pictures to ADA and was confirmed a fake. The twist is that it does have a date, the date is 10/09 . Looks like they updated the fake head to make it less recognizable. I also had the domes confirmed as fakes. They use the same engravings as ADA but the domes are anodized. The nuts and girdle kit is also confirmed fake. The girdle kit is black and rusting (not stainless). Owner said he bought it off ADA's site. I call BS. He says he will return the money when i ship the package back. Im afraid if i do it will end up back on the market. What should i do??

I want to run it but im just afraid to. I was told that the squish might be different and ADA said that it will leak water into the cylinder causing a bent rod from hydro-lock.

Explain it exactly as you did in the feedback section, tell who it is and that he had no problem refunding your money, granted he did lie about where he got it, but he did offer a refund.

Don't run it , 98gti brought his SN to me last year to tune in the carbs, I didn't know it at the time but he had one of these fake heads installed, while it ran fine here, it blew his engine all to hell later last year, don't risk it !

COuld of been a good headshell but Fake domes. I have a pair of fake domes I bought with the head. Makes me not want to buy used domes anymore.

The logo looks different like the pictures i added. Just send pictures to ADA. The domes are anodized on the fakes, ADA doesnt anodize them.

Just buy new from ada or jetmaniac or raytherace and you will be fine

If you are from US buy from Jetmaniac, you will save on shipping, unless you are in the north east or close to Quebec, shipping will be the same or close too.

The real question is if he's lying to you about getting it from ada theres a good chance if you send the head back he still wont refund you the money!!!!
