Another No Spark Thread

Trying to troubleshoot a 701 that doesn't have any spark. No spark at all. Last fall, the ski had a weak spark, but now, there is no spark at all.
It has an MSD Enhancer, stock electronics otherwise. The spark plug boots were replaced with NGK boots, but the coil and wires are OEM.
Engine turns over and has good compression.
Battery is good.
No corrosion throughout the ski. This is a freshwater ski.

I have tried disconnecting the white and black pigtail from the start stop switch, but still no spark.

Dug out my multimeter and took readings on the primary coil:
Resistance between orange and black wires on primary coil: 0.6 Ohms
How does a guy test the secondary coil? The manual says to test the secondary coil, but it doesn't show a diagram or any instructions.

I followed the instructions in this post: https://www.x-h2o.com/threads/my-superjet-is-stupid-electrical-gremlins.37785/post-517407
I checked the resistance and voltages on the stator wires:
Resistance between brown wire and black wire = 254 ohms (Spec is 497-608 ohms)
VOLTAGE while cranking between red/white wire and black wire = 14.6 VAC (should be 30-50 VAC according to Cosander's post above)
Resistance between red/white wire and black wire = 15 ohms (Spec is 12.6-15.4 ohms)
VOLTAGE while cranking between the brown wire and black wire = 2.4 VAC (should be between 4-5 VAC according to Cosander's post above).

I tried a known good coil, and no spark.

Before I go swap out the MSD enhancer, I am wondering if the stator may be bad since both the ohms and voltage for the Charge coil to the CDI capacitor (red white wire from stator) are below spec. The voltage is also low on the pulser coil output (brown wire) on the stator. Can a tired/poor stator kill a CDI? I have an OEM CDI on hand but don't want to swap it in if the stator will toast the spare CDI.

Side note - Is it possible to replace the OEM spark plug wires but continue using the oem coil?

I had already tried bypassing the start buttons earlier.

starter engages and turns motor over, but no spark. Tried a known good stock CDI, still no spark.

if the charge coil wire on the stator is out of spec for resistance and VAC, can that cause a no spark issue?

The charge coil values are way out of spec so that is likely your culprit. You said you had weak spark last year, did it ever not run until it sat for a bit and cooled down then would run again for 15-20 minutes?

You can test the secondary of the coil with a decent multi-meter if it reads high enough resistance. I believe ideal is in the 4.5 - 4.7 MOhm range but not all meters are capable.

The secondary wires on the OEM coil can be replaced. I do a few batches of them a year and they are avaialble through Jetmaniac.

I had same thing new start stop fixed it
