another one bites the dust... (jet ski magazines)

AdamOntario & Rustymuscle; I'm glad that this issue has been raised as I agree that the cost for for a Canadian subscription is (IMO) excessive. I periodically purchase PWI from the newstand (I still have copies dating back to 1998); however, every time I consider commiting to a subscription, I cringe when I calculate the total cost ($65US=almost $100CAN).

last issue of WW I got my wife brought to me while I was on the pot. I flipped through it in less than 5 minutes. Tossed in the garbage. Not even worth using it as toilet paper.

WW has always been like that, Splash was much better until it went under or got bought out. The last few issues of PWI have been pretty good.

None of these replace the "X" but you should see the looks i get if I take my laptop into the john. lol

yup, and to think they got bought out by WW (What a Waste).

I am waiting on the next issue of XMI. Man that first issue was great!.

LOL. :lmao: I've been MIA from jet skiing for the last two years and XMI references never get old.

As far as WW. I hate to say it but good riddance. It had lost its edge a decade ago. PWI has always been the better of the two. I think I am going to subscribe to it again.

I have a 2000 POLARIS and we docked it on lake ontario, in a bay, but it was bad out and in the morning the pwc was underwater, well the engine was up to the plugs in water...and now it won't start. Have switched the battery and the plugs. It turns over but no go.....any ideas? I have let the sun dry it out for about 5 days now...

Yeah, Personal Watercraft Illustrated's forums are rather quiet. But, I've really never known any magazine's forums to be really buzzing (well, RacerX is pretty busy...).

Either way, we're ramping up all sorts of new efforts to bring PWI into the digital age in a big way (online editions of the magazine, online-only editions during off-season months, and much more!). It just takes dollars to make it happen. But stay tuned in, you'll start seeing stuff shortly!
