Awesome. My footrocket is still awaiting engine transplant and a few minor things here and there.

Have you been to the ocean before?

oic, you are in for quite the eye opener, you will have to re-learn how to ride a standup. Be sure all your wiring is in good shape, or else you ski wont run correctly.

Die-electric grease everything, all connectors, spark plug boots, etc. Silicone the e-box where the wiring comes out, make sure your e-box fuse holder cap gasket is good. Can't have any hoggy/poggy wiring, i.e. bare wires, wiring just twisted together, etc. Make sure your ground/power cables are good, also check the ends. I have seen a ski that ran good in the lake, but didn't run anymore after being in the ocean for 10 min. May not be a concern for you, but would hate for you to learn the hard way as some of my friends have.

Finally good weather to glass.
One more layer and I'll turf it this weekend and she'll be done for now.

Looks good Twake.. Hey now..! look at that schnazzy ride plate !

-You still planning on wrapping the stock purple vinyl back in the tray or are you going to turf?

Both. Turf the bottom and footholds with purple, and I'm cutting the stock purple covers to go around the footholds
Trying to get it as stock as possible.
Yeah I love the ride plate! It's like its new or something.

Nope, don't feel the need, and there isn't room. I've never ran padding at all and I've never felt the need. But everyone talked me into it for the top.

First turf job I've done with footholds and not precut. It sucked!!lol oh well, it was my first go.
Here are some progress photos.
Haven't wrapped the plastic back yet. It's just tucked to see the look

It's finally done and test rode.
I tried to keep it as stock looking as possible, and tried to keep that fx1 feel to it.
Parts are:
Bpipe
Westcoast head
Msd
Protec grate and ride plate
Solas prop
Custom footholds
Cold fusion handlepole base, mount, and hood hook.
Tidy bilge kit
Blowsion bars and limiting rope

Super basic and straight forward ski. Just a nice extra toy to have and get off the sj from time to time.
