So I have had a great summer as far as my superjet running well aside from a bad s.s. switch last week. It was running well but I felt there was a bit of tuning and more bottom end to be had out of it.
Mods61x single 44sbn ADA head I think 35cc domes Coffman sizzler pipe TDR water box and a hooker 9/15.
I started to turn in my carb just a little bit and now it's running like completea$$ I turned it back out to where it was and nothing changed. It seems to be backfiring in the water at mid-range and during lowrpms it’s very gurgly. I pulled the plugs and they are a little rich but not too bad, my question wascould it be I sheared my woodruff key and my timing is off? Or do you think this is more of a carb issue?
