I welded a 2" pice of alum. tube to the outlet on my water box making a tee and extended the 2 1/2" tube 1"

Def louder....alot deeper tone aswell. I think their fine....others say too loud. I enjoy the tone but tis not as loud as a just a hollow waterbox like some are.
is there performance gains to be had by cutting open your water box then?? never heard of this before please tell more

TDR boxes are quieter than I though. As far as performance gains???? sound great. I guess the reduced weight is a nice performance gain.

No real gains....the usual gain inw ater boxes is dropping nose weight and having the ability to run it dryer and at some snappy/clear idle response.
Gutting your stocker is just annoying and pointless
