Another X-metal water box comparison

Here's my comparison videos as well.

Video is taken a few months apart, but the ski (97 RN) hasn't changed mechanically (just paint, foot holds, shortened pole, and turf). It's a 6m6 cased 701 (temp motor for my wife), b-pipe, enhancer, and stock rear exhaust. Both boxes were COMPLETELY dry. First video is stock water box, second video is the new X-metal water box.

Ski hasn't hit water with new water box, just finished stuff on it. Should be out riding Wed and will try to get some footage then.

I just enjoys hearing both at the same time. Yes its has been awhile since I rode my ski!

I just rode mine with the new XS box for the first time. With the 865, it sounds just barely louder then stock. I couldnt be happier with it.

Like an idiot I left the fully charged video camera at home when we went out Wed.

On a small motor the throttle response improved slightly. The sound is much deeper in the water compared to the video posted with it completely dry. To be honest at certain RPMs watching from the beach it had almost a Hydroish sound a few times. Not the whole rpm range, just certain areas.

It sounds really good, just a tad louder than stock but much deeper. Will not forget my camera this week. Also, should be swapping motors in the near future and see how it sounds with something a bit bigger and more worked. I've been happy with all my X-Metal purchases.

hahaha, that was pretty bad, I just didn't have any other good video trying to show the sound. I blip a lot, but it's waaaay worse in that video thanks to an semi injured hand/finger
