look at the dirt harry lever, its a curled over mtn bike lever, cheap and works really well, has more throw than that one and doesn't stick out like a spear.

she has it on her ski and really likes it
very nice looking, looks HEAVY duty too
she can get her small hands on it, and i can easily get it with mine too

i believe it will feel mostly like a umi lever reworked finger blade so if you tried that i imagine it not to be far off
