Whats 1 more civil liberty?

Why not start a maskers had it right thread, that way nobodys feelings are hurt and provide that point of view.

I get keeping it jetski related, but it was in the off topic area..it did provide views, thoughts, links, experiences. Hell, even i dont agree with everything in it, but it provides other points for me to consider and was beneficial.

How about: Just don’t view the thread if you don’t want to read it. That’s what I do with anything that says “college sports”; something no sane person should give even the slightest attention to, IMHO. But, if somebody wants to go there, that’s on them. I just ignore it.

This is remarkably sad.

For what it’s worth, I’ve already started getting in non-forum contact with people I have met here, with the intent being to just give up trying to make useful contributions here, and just stay in touch with those folks, directly. I mean, Facebook is a competitor to these (really: all) forums, and telling a whole swath of your members that they should use facebook for, well, _anything_ seems to me to be a poor business decision. This place is already being treated like a second-class outlet to get info on any big events, such as Daytona this year: I asked for info and got pointed to Facebook… at what point do these forums just dry up and wither with everyone just pointing people to FB?

So, yeah, I guess I’ve said my piece. I do not expect anything to come of it, so I’m not trying to argue, but rather typing what a number of us are saying to each other out of band, so those that think likewise can see it and know there’s plenty of others having the same thoughts.

Politics have typically been a rabbit hole here, hence why we typically discourage them. The Mask thread has been one of the few that has stayed ok for the most part. Personally I dont think it needs to be here, but hey, have at it. will put it back up.

Also, "Poor Business Decision", this is not a business. This is suppose to be about our Hobby here. Daytona, Riot Ride/Lanier Ride, Southern Fried Freeride, Wavedaze, etc etc all started either here or on PWCToday..... We cannot control if the guys that set them up decide to promote them somewhere else. We provide a free place to post their info here.

Delete me I guess since you consider my post non value added. It really wouldn't bother me one bit and would rather not be apart of a community here if the content I share is of non-value. I left for over a year, not really sure why I came back. Bye
