Of course I come here for the skis. It also helps knowing you aren't the only person in the position you feel you are in. Killing a thread like this feels like conformity, like sweeping it under the rug, the government is waiting for us all to take the easy way out. I agree 100% with Kahuna. I miss seeing build threads and people going riding.

If my local boat ramps closed, I would be laughing in the back of the cop car everyday. Stand up for that chit dude. Don't post online about it, actually do SOMETHING. They closed our beaches and I still went to them daily. Waved at the city guys while I picked up trash as usual. Most people won't enforce stupidity.

A mod here poked fun at him until he finally gave up and left the site. I guess his own build wasn't getting enough attention. It definitely opened my eyes to what's important here.

"All You Democrat Jetskiers" Basically you are insulting any Democrat Jetskiers on here. I dont know who they are, I dont care what everybody's belief is when it comes to politics. This site is not about politics. You could say "All you Republican Jetskiers" (If you were a Democrat) and your gonna get the exact same response.

This site is about jetskiing. Yes, we have some off topic conversations. We have small sections for Riding Bikes, Motorcycles, Side By Sides because they are all kind of similar. What this site is not about is spewing Political Bullcrap, Conspiracy Theories, Effects of Vaccines which may or may not help........... We have given some latitude on this one thread. Typically they get shut down the first time someone starts with the crap. Overall the Anti Masker thread has kept calm and civil, Honestly, You are the one person that keeps popping up on the radar. As far as trying to get me to focus on your politics, not gonna happen. Why? This site is not about your political views or ideology. I come here to talk ski's, Help out when I can. Be there for friends who may need it. Help promote this little hobby. Do I make mistakes in dealing with things and people. All the time. Am I always right? Hell no.... You are 100% correct. I supported Larry Elder in the recall of Newsome. But California is a one-party-machine State.

Gavin Newsome is Nancy Pelosi's nephew.

The same crowd that stopped us from recalling him, will be sending him East to our Nation's capital.

He is a pretty boy that women love.

Californians' will likely be the first to lose our right to 2-stroke jet ski.

You know it's ok they poke fun when I decided to build the that first 300sx freestyle ski, funny how time reveals who was right and who was wrong here, sometimes you just have to outlast the haters to win.

I find this thread strange. I am very logical and literal in my thinking. A bunch of people are talking about this being a jet ski forum. But this is the off-topic sub forum. It exists to make sure non-sense is not in the jet ski sections. But more importantly it is a section that, if used properly, shouldn't really have any jet ski related topics in it. Did this roll over from another sub forum or something? Like, if you want to talk jet ski stuff, then this is really the wrong sub forum to be in. This being a jet ski forum really is irrelevant in this sub-forum. Did I miss something?

No, it got started because I moved the other thread off site for a day....... Yes it is "Off Topic"....... Members got all butt hurt so I put it back on. Off Topic has its limitations.

Bottom line. Political threads have always been frowned upon. Why? Because of members like E350 who come in and make comments about the other political party (and Members aka "All our Democrat Jetskiers" that he openly opposes. It just ends up being a poop show. Now, for the most part that thread has stayed mostly civil compared to damn near all the others....... There needs to be more activity on this site jetski related than pissing contest about Anti Vaccinnes, Covid, etc etc. Otherwise we might as well pull the plug.

Even though its off topic, we still have to look at it, still get reported post periodically that takes time. If all we are doing is moderating "Off Topic" Post then what is the point.

While I do think BK has to be the standard and maintain it, the lack of appreciation for the work people's behavior creates for the forum management is disappointing. I can understand why he is venting a bit. There certainly hasn't be an expressed appreciation for why he is frustrated. Taking a shot at him is not witty. It's sort of a dick move. That's not directed at the last person who took a shot at him. That's directed at all of the people trying to poke the bear. Don't be proud of yourselves. Including as applicable to myself.
