FirePower Featherweight Lithium Battery HJTZ14S-FP-IL
this is what i am running in my freak right now with a dasa 950, and in a small hard to get to space. i have two of these.
one fully died when i left my total loss on by mistake during end of season storage.... there was no bringing her back from the battery grave.
I am going on year 4 on my wps featherweight battery in my dvx. Spins over my php898 on race gas no problem. I have also had my relay get stuck twice and drain the battery pretty bad and its recovered both times. I am using the ballistic charger.
Ill look tonight for the dimensions.
OEM Seadoowhich relay are you using?
I had a AG battery, crapped out after 3 rides in freshwater - i had even put 3M scotch kote on terminals. I allso took the battery apart, same chinese cells as 95% of li-ion 12v batteries.
The past 2 years ive been running a lithium battery from a swedish company "biltema" becasue the offer 3 years warrenty - no questions asked.
Thoese batteries are rebranded in alot of other names.
This is 5Ah with around 290cca.
Works brilliat on my 10mm stroker 1100

OEM Seadoo
which relay are you using?
Is yours a little rectangle black box? If I recall they had a few different chargers back then with different amp ratings

Yes, I think we have the same units... I charged with it today and checked it’s charging amps... it’s 14.6 v and 7.625 amps, other times it was 7.75 so nearly 8.0 amps

Was running msd...switched to sea doo and haven’t had an issue since
Yeah 3 yrs and counting on my oem sea doo, they work flawlessly.Ok, just checking. That is what we have switched to selling after problems with the msd relay.
Pretty cool gig, I remember emailing them about it and I am pretty sure they said it was splash rated. I thought it would be nice not to have to open the hood since our phones are always glued to our hands lol
I use the antigravity and when I get them I sand and seal the seam and around the posts with west systems six10 and they last a pretty good while. I also use a msd quick connect so I’m not ever messing with the battery posts when disconnecting the battery.
I went through a couple batteries pretty quick but later found out that it was my starter killing them. I thought I was good since it was a jm rebuilt oem but it was all rusted up inside. Don’t forget to seal and tape the seams of your starter as well. If your starter is getting hard to turn it could be your culprit. I got a couple years out of one and @skinnyman is on his 3rd year

Let me know how it works, I have 3 skis with lithiums, 2 on charging 1 on total loss. Would be good to know before overcharging on the charging systemshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NSVMY4S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Mine shows up tomorrow, app looks pretty sweet though. Shows your stats during starting, running etc. Looks like you can set alarms as well so you know when it drops too low.
