anyone ever charged their AG 16 cell on a r/c lithium charger? i'm wanting to stick mine on one that i have and not sure what mah rating the ag battery is.
Pb is for lead/acid batteries? Figured i could put it on life/lithium on the 4s setting at 6amps. Most r/c chargers want a mah level set to and i was unsure if i should just set it at like 5000mah and let it do it's thing.
I use the IMAX b6 on mine. I charge it on PB.
This information is wrong. The charging algorithm for PB and lithium is different. Using an rc charger is common practice.... just make sure it's set for thr correct type of lithium
Set to LiFe 4 cell. I think it would still be a four cell just smaller cells for the 12 vs 16.
Hello * and thank you for reaching out to us. While technically you should be able to use the settings for Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) we can't necessarily vouch for that model/brand as we usually try to stay away from multi chemical compositions chargers. Reason being for the exact questions your asking as there is a risk for having the wrong settings as well as not providing the correct charge rate or being able to recognize a battery if it is in an over discharged state and charging it too fast. The standard lithium specific chargers we recommend such as the Optimate and CTEK brands have a rate anywhere from .8 amps to 5 amps but also have built in functionality to identify the state of the battery so we know they will attempt to properly charger the battery in any state.
Hopefully that helps point you in the right direction but please let us know if you have any other questions.
Icharger is what I use and many others.
