Please help, any advise or suggestions welcome. Im in the middle of sanding a few minor bulges out of my pump wear ring. I have tried several things, Dremmel grinding stone, glued sand paper to round closet pole and put that on the end of a drill. This seams to work best so far.... want to get it nice so new impeller spins freely, Thanks.

Yes, thanks, impros and atlantic jet sports reman them too. Do you know if the ones from SBT will hold up in the salt longer than a stock housing? The sanding is working, but taking forever. I am asking this because I bought a used pump off of a reputable seller with over 6000 jet ski part sales. Who said that it was rebuilt and when taken off everything spun freely, although my new impeller did not budge in the housing. I am sending that pump back. The seller said that a little sanding was common with these pumps, I wanted to see if anyone agreed or thought that this was a normal thing for 650 pumps to bee sanded?

I think that I will keep my new impeller for a new housing from SBT. If need to ride sooner I can put an old pump that I sanded in with a semi decent impeller, Thanks for everyones input.
