Send him another email and tell him to close his site down until hes done. Or at least put a banner that says 3-6months shipping time. :D

I'm able to close this chapter. I sent another email on Jan 12th, as I never received mounts that were shipped on december 26th. He couldn't find the shipping record so sent it out with tracking on jan 13th and I received them on jan 18th. First email was sent October 1st...If anyone wants a new set of mounts I've got them listed for sale.

I emailed him on Monday to ask about the status of the 550-701 swap kit and he responded within 24 hours saying that they were still moving and he thought they would be back in stock in a few weeks and to email him again to check.

This all sucks to hear because I've never dealt with rhaas directly but I got their rn pole for an sn hull bracket and it fit and works perfectly. I wish our hobby were bigger so manufacturer's could focus on that and not selling and shipping so we can get the crap we need to scooter on the water

Sadly is the way he dealt with me as well, there were many phone calls, at that time he was at least still answering the phone, there were also many excuses and many promises made and broken, it's not a way to run a business long term, I own a small business and it is just me so I do fully understand part of it but this seem to have been going on forever and not much has changed in the way he operates, sometimes it gets better sometimes it gets worse., I am a very patient man but even I ran out of patience and had to move on and go another route, I believe the only thing I still have are a couple of sets of motor mounts, I sold everything else.

Similar situation here, as I ordered a conversion kit and coupler on Jan 11 2022. Website showed 4 in stock at that time, and dwindled down to zero over the next few weeks. Here it is mid march and still have not received my parts. I sent a couple of emails, got a reply, and my calls were answered as well. I even got an email with a tracking number in mid February. A shipping label was printed, and as of now that is all. 3 months later, I am starting to lose patience.

Just putting my experience out there. First time buying from them. Had heard I might have a long wait but it was for a non-essential part so figured I'd give it a try. I ordered a 62t speed plate for 38s on 3/6 and shipped on 3/31. Arrived a couple days after that. Overall pretty happy with that timeline.

Now don't be sad, cause one outta a hunnedd ain't bad

I didn't exactly enjoy having to wait so long for my parts, but he always took my calls, and always replied to my emails. I give him alot of credit for that, and his parts are well made, no question about it. I can't imagine this is business as usual for them. I won't hesitate to order from them in the future.

I was told two weeks ago that the last of my bits would be shipping in 1-2 weeks at most. My order was placed 4 weeks ago. Still giving Robin the benefit of the doubt as he has been responding to my emails and all of the parts that I ordered are proprietary and also for a second-priority build that doesn't have a critical timeline. I'm starting to learn that the experience one might have from vendor to vendor in the sport can vary immensely.

I am sorry but I feel its like going to a drive through , don't take my money then make me to wait 30 minutes and park over to the side, tell me it's going to be a wait up front so I can make up my own mind and choose another option if I want to. I know in my case I would have gone with another option.

Got a shipping notice with tracking info today. Exactly two weeks from when Robin said my order would be ready in 1-2 weeks tops...

@WFO Speedracer I agree, if I wasn't ordering proven proprietary parts it would be a whole other story.

Well, this is getting annoying...

2/15 - Emailed Robin several times prior to placing my order with questions about compatibility etc. to make sure I was ordering the right things... Was told on 2/15 that everything was in stock except the motor mounts which should be ready "in about a week".

3/15 - Followed up a month later and asked if the motor mounts were back in stock yet and was told "yes, we just started them back up, should be able to ship rather quickly" - No mention of driveshaft or bearing not being in-stock...

3/15 - Placed $835 order for Swap kit, Custom driveshaft and conversion bearing (assuming that once the motor mounts were ready everything would be on its way)

3/28 - After waiting two weeks with no update, I Sent email to Robin asking if my order had shipped.

3/29 - Received reply stating that "conversion kit and bearing will go out in the next couple days and driveshaft has another week or two at the most"

4/15 - Received shipment notice with tracking via paypal one month after placing my order - No mention of incomplete/partial shipment.

4/25 - Receive package with drive shaft ONLY with a hand written note on packing list indicating the conversion kit and bearing are back-ordered one week...

FWIW, I elected to go with the BlackMarkit billet 750 pump-swap instead of the Rhaas version... Mark told me via IG that he was going to be making them in the next week or two. When I followed up two weeks later he confirmed they were in production, so I placed my order. I had the parts in my hands no more than a week after that.

contd. (eyeroll)

5/3 - Received an email from Robin saying he finished making the coupler I ordered and the rest of my parts "should go out today" and that he would be including "some extras in the box to make up for the delays". Tracking number was created and attached to paypal transaction.

5/4 - I reply "Awesome, Thanks for the update!"

5/6 - USPS takes possession of box

5/9 - Box is delivered (I had it shipped to my work but had previously requested the day off thinking the kit would have arrived by the Friday before.)

5/11 - I finally open the box to find that although the quality of what arrived is excellent, 1) there are zero "extras" of any kind in the box (which I just think is funny), and 2) half of the billet coupler I ordered was not in the box - which is frustrating because I'm guessing it's going to be a while before I see it...

It's been 58 days and my $867 order still isn't complete.... yikes.

You are still ahead of the game compared to my last seasons $1400 Early May order that wasn’t completely filled until late September. But hey, who wants to jet ski in the summer anyway. Best of luck.
