Other Any how tos or tips on making a rockered nose?

I know you can buy them, but I am reinforcing and adding footholds so I may as well rocker the nose too.

So my question is how do you make one. Is there an exact angle that you need for them to work. I have been reading through build threads and it appears there is multiple ways to do it from shims to shaping with foam. But I am still not sure what shape I want? I mostly free ride with a little freestyle.

There is no magic formula. Do what looks right to you. For freeride it should be the more the better.

just buy the carterb kit and save yourself the head ache. besides all the ones iv seen where ppl tried to form their own nose look/ride like garbage EXCEPT a select few which spent countless hours shaping. idk what your time is worth...

I just cant get myself to spend 400$ on a small piece of fiberglass for a SquareNose. Does anyone sell a template or something I can use to make my own?

Oh its for a square ? We don't have that mold to make a square rocker kit but u can mod the rn kit ill make a super thin one so u can tweak it bottom deck is the same as a rn but the top deck is the part u would have to make your own I think I have a messed up rn kit ill cut the top where it's messed up and u can foam and shape the top

true alot dough for the amount of material you are getting when buyin the kit but all the guessing and head scratching is eliminated with it making it a easy install
If you do not plan on shortening the nose and you just want to rocker it, that could be done fairly easily and wouldn't require reshaping. rocker the nose up about 4 inches it wouldn't be a dramatic change but it would be an improvement.
