Other Any idea what starter maybe the same as this?

Okay I bought a benelli S8... Parts are hard to come by.. Anyone seen a starter like this?..

I've looked at that site, thank you.. I will email them the details... All the numbers on the starter haven't showed up on any search. Ive looked at some benelli bikes with no luck.. All the gears had Ducati on them, but the duck starters don't look the same.

Going to disassemble the starter tomorrow and see if I can match up anything with chris (Jetmaniac )... This is the only part holding me up from riding the benelli..

Some looking on eBay and I think it's a Triumph starter... Found a few models that look exact

I was going to recommend sending yours to a starter rebuild compay. I have had good luck with a local company

yeah most likely its a brush worn down or loose i would pull it apart and check looks like a fourwheeler starter most the time ive found that the stud for the power wire will end up gounding to the housing of the starter easy test and fix if thats the issue

The starter works fine, it's new... The gear or spline is what's damaged... So the teeth are damaged

It looks pretty similar to a 300sx or Ultra 150 starter.
