Any of you guys do paving?

Trying to get a ball park estimate on paving a 50 x 15 area as well as fixing a bit of my road because my town sucks at that and did a half assed job and won't come back and correct/complete it.

Basically a parking area that is currently gravel topped with 1/2" round river stones. I can move the stones and use them elsewhere on my property.

My parents had their entire driveway done a few years back, twice actually because the first crew did such a chit job. Both times they found a crew that was working smaller jobs in the area to keep the guys busy in between bigger jobs and to use up the rest of a large batch of leftover material.

I'm not sure how they found the crew or got the hookup. They have a pretty decent network in their area so likely just word of mouth.
The first crew charged $3500 and the second was closer to $15k but they did an awesome job that added a ton of value to the property.

With mobilization fees, you may be better off to do a larger area and get more bang for the buck.
Either that or just do concrete.

I used to do asphalt work for the County at my day job. In florida our current price is $215 per ton installed for that small of a job.
Your project of 50 x 15 = 750 sq ft divided by 9 = 83.3 sq yards
at 2 inches thich you would need 8.3 tons of asphalt.
8.3 tons x $215. per ton = $1791.00
But they are probably going to want a modilization fee for such a small job.
My guess is $2500 to 3k depending which state your in.
Hope this helps
