Any surf riding close to Newport CA?

Only places i know that still allow surf ride is pismo and oceanside anything in between that can possibly be an option?

Granada Beach in Long beach is a blast, it's different than those 2 places but close, nice swells roll in and there is a section that has surf conditions when the conditions are right plus you can launch and hang out on the sand, just need a beach tote for your ski.
