any tips on removing rtv?

trying to clean up cases someone coated with tons of RTV
acetone doesn't cut it.
any tips?

If it's gasket surfaces and you don't have an official gasket scraper, just use a razer blade, but be very careful not to go at too steep of an angle or use too much pressure. It's easy nick the aluminum that way.
